Liposuction

This 30-year old patient needed liposuction of the left lateral thigh. Due to trauma from a car accident, the patient’s left leg had an abnormal collection of adipose tissue in the outer thigh. The patient was very frustrated with the asymmetry of her lower body and decided to have it removed through liposuction.

She explained to Dr. Pousti during her consultation that she wanted the area to be ”smoothed” out. Dr. Pousti explained the procedure in detail and made sure that the patient had realistic expectations. After answering all the patients questions thoroughly, she felt at ease and decided to proceed with surgery to improve her body contour.
